Christmas: Contemplation or senseless shopping marathon?

Around Christmas time opinions differ on this question. Some like to give and be blessed, others consistently escape the consumerism.

But consume refusineks are therefore still far from being gift grouches. They prefer to use tinkered stuff. Advent decoration is collected during forest walks in form of fir branches, pine cones, moss and wood. Or Christmas figures will be made of dough and then painted filigree. All that adorns their own home and gives loved ones much joy. For all being aware of the effort that brings the self-designed decoration with it.
